Here there are no washing machines. No dryers. Only great coffee. Friendly and welcoming staff. A great environment to just chill with a book, blog on your laptop or have a delicious time with your favourite friends. And also the yummiest French Toast I have ever had in my life. ( except for my mums french toast, but you can't compare anything to mums cooking.)

Wally De Backer a.k.a. Gotye. 

He's from Australia people and he is my favourite musician right now. I think he will take a place on my list of favourite musicians. 

I could listen to his albums over-and-over-and-over-and-over again. His music videos are also way cool and very inspiring. 

I think my writing tutor looks a little like Gotye. Each tutorial I attend I secretly anticipate him telling us that his name isn't actually Simon but that it's Wally and then all of a sudden he breaks out into song. (Singing maybe...'Simon is just somebody that I used to know...'.) I doubt that that's going to happen, but it would sure make my day.

lost my mojo

I took this photo when I moved into my new house about one month ago. I think it looks nice with all those leaves all around. Now all the leaves are gone.



From the title of this blog ( "lost my mojo") and also from the lack of blog posts here, i think you can tell that I haven't been inspired much lately. I have wanted to blog, but I couldn't think of anything interesting to say.

I have a feeling it has something to do with me moving into my new house and starting a brand new life.

Anyway... I'm back! Re-inspired and excited. I'm pretty busy these days because of uni and reading but I'll do my best to share as many interesting things with you as I can.

Burch & Purchese Sweet Studio

I couldn't think of a better idea for my birthday other than visiting Burch & Purchese Sweet Studio in South Yarra.

** yes it is my birthday today...happy birthday to me :P **

 Thankfully it wasn't too cold out today, my friend Steph and I were able to enjoy our sweet treats just around the corner from Burch & Purchese on a lovely park bench.

The store is incredible, you walk in and it feels like you're in a fairy tale. It's so pretty, and all the sweets look so delicious. If I were to read Hansel and Gretel I'd imagine the house in the story to be made up of all the cakes I saw in the store today. yum yum.

Steph and I both chose the same thing, we had the 'RASPBERRY, WHITE CHOC, HONEY, LYCHEE'

- White chocolate and raspberry mousse/ raspberry & lychee jelly/ muesli and honey nut sponge/ raspberry and hibiscus jam/ raspberry compote/ lychees/ exaggerated raspberry cream/ white chocolate velvet spray.

Just divine!
